Hi
Complete newbie here in terms of creating/adding/editing modules and html.

I've downloaded the AddThis folder and extracted contents. I se a image file and an XML doc with containing code. What do I do with this?

I've tried following a couple of other help links discussing creating new modules without success. Can anyone give me a step-by-step guide please?

OK, I must look really retarded asking this question. I've resolved after a bit of an 'ah haaa' moment.
Anyway, for anyone else out there like me who has a bit of brain blockage, save file to a convenient location, such as desktop as the zipped folder. From the Extensions menu in Joomla choose Install/ Uninstall and browse for your file. Click Install. You'll then find it listed in Modules.

Thanks for this helpful Module! It is indeed easy to install. When activating it at "Module Manager" one has to activate the position. I want it to appear in my posts, so what actually is the position? I tried "bottom", but then it appears at the footer of the page but not within the post. Thanks for any help!

Hi,

Add this is the module so it could not display in Post. You need to install the plug-in to display in post or need to call this module in posts using jModule class.
