I have it working on one site - joomla 1.5.8.
But on my second site - different host from the first one - and it still allows me to login to www.site.com/administrator - I have it enabled, but it will not give you the error message, and can still login.

Same issue. I have it working on another site J1.5.3 - English) and cannot have it working on my new site using J1.5.8 - Portuguese Language Administration.

Note that I am using a subdirectory/subdoamin structure in this last site.
