This is a great plugin, and, it used to work. I guess I never tested it out after updating joomla various times, currently at 1.5.8. Never would have known if the following issue existed unless I had been testing it after each update.

On a fresh install of Joomla 1.5.8, as well as my updated joomla 1.5.8 installation, this plugin does not function corectly. it does create the key folder for the backend access, but leave the administrator folder and does not redirect it as it did before.

using the latest 1.06 of Jsecure Authentication...

so, to sum it up, it does not really do anything to protect and hide the administrator folder at this time, allowing backend access through both.

EDIT:

BOTH installations have CB RC 1.4 installed, one is an updated installation, the other a fresh joomla install per above BUT CB was installed before JSecure on this. (issue exists if joomla and CB together, and updated all along, or, if you do a fresh install of joomla, install CB and then Jsecure.

Perhaps CB is conflicting with Jsecure somehow?

I am guessing this has something to do with 1.5.8, or even earlier versions of joomla, and or involving CB RC 1.4 installations as well as sh404sef, latest beta of:
1.0.15_Beta - build_218 - Joomla 1.5.x


There are a few issues noted on the board in regards to 1.5.8, mine is that the plugin is 1/3 functional - the administrator folder is not redirected and still allows login to the backend, as well as the newly created admin folder as a result of this plugin.
