I installed jSecure two days ago and everything seemed to be working fine. Then this morning I noticed that I could still access the backend through www.mysite.com/administrator/index.php address. So I went on this forum for advice and found the post below:

Well, I went back to my site and changed the key to include the "index.php?"

of course, being that's it new year's day and I'm a bit tired, I just realized that I've added an extra index.php? in there. I've tried all sorts of urls from previous posts and now i can't get to the admin page - I just get the 404 error.

I would appreciate anyone that could help me!!!!!

well, crisis averted. I was able to delete the jsecure files thru FTP and i was able to get back to the site! I am still a beginner at this so was very nervous about deleting anything!

I entered alpha numeric and special characters in key. now can not access back end. What to do?

I solved it through php
