Are the instructions wrong? says ALPHANUMERIC then NO NUMBERS! But alphanumeric includes numbers!

Hello,

I have a site that is set in OFFLINE mode and after I log in through main page (so it sets a cookie or something to work), I cannot get in the back end through the www.mywesbite.ca/administrator/$password

It bounces me to a 404 page. How do I get in if my configuration panel is set to offline mode. Am I in deep trouble? Is it not recommended to use the jsecure plugin when a site is in offline mode?

dont use ? in the plugin, just "key123"

url is then /administrator/?key123

you can unpublish the plugin in the db with phpmyadmin

great plugin

I was having the same problem!! Very frustrating!

@Positiv your info is what helped. I tried inputting my key without adding the ? and everything is working fine now.
