SORTED - if you have joomla in a sub-directory then you need to put that in the path e.g. my installation is in a sub directory called pages, so the required URL was www.site.com/administrator/pages/?xxx

I get the following now I've enabled this plugin:

The requested URL /installation/index.php was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Any ideas please? I have used the URL: www.site.com/administrator/?xxx where site is replaced by my website and xxx by my password.
