I'm running jSecure on a few websites and it works perfectly on them. However it doesn't seem to be working on one particular site that I just installed it on. Here's a rundown of what I can do to replicate the bug everytime...

• I enable the plugin using my key (I'll use the default "jSecure" for this example).


• I logout, then I go to www.mysite.com/administrator/?jSecure and get redirected to the www.mysite.com/index.php. (This caused a little panic because I thought I had just locked myself out of the backend somehow.)


• I try www.mysite.com/administrator and I'm able to reach the admin login page, with an error message that states "your not authorized to access this resource".


• Refreshing the page gets rid of the error message, and I'm able to login from that page (I can still login while the error message is displayed as well).

I cleared the firefox browser cache and still had this issue. So, I tried Google Chrome, IE8 and Opera...still had that issue. Does anyone else have this issue? Is this a known bug?

Btw, I'm currently using jSecure v1.0.8 and Joomla v1.5.11.

However, I had this same issue when I used jSecure v1.0.7 with Joomla v1.5.9

I was working on my site last night in California and was telling my brother in austrlaia about how great jsecure is, he tried to get to the back end of my site and he could get there with the default address.

i just figured out why my install is not working with this extension. I am using two domains, one 'real' and the other parked, which is my website domain.

this extension works fine on the 'real' domain, but fails to prevent access to the parked doman's admin page.

Developer: any thoughts on how i can fix this configuration? i realize it probably a joomla setting and not your extension. thanks.

for this plugin you have to write: mysite.com/administrator/index.php?key
