Having successfully used jSecure on several standard http sites running J1.5.11, I recently installed the latest version 1.0.9 on an https site. The site is using the standard Joomla SEF .htaccess file, with some edits, e.g. to force SSL use.
This may be similar to the problem reported in

When the jSecure plugin is enabled, any attempt to access the administrator page using the URL with the key results in a white screen - i.e. no content displayed therefore no way to login to the admin side of the site. entering the normal admin URL (../administrator/index.php) results in the correct redirected response. However entering the URL ../administrator/index.php?magic does provide the login page.
Any reason for this anomalous behavior?
