I am using the latest versions of Joomla and VirtueMart. When I install Jsecure I am unable to reach VirtueMart. When you try to click VirtueMart from administration you are redirected to the homepage as if you had visited the main site on the web. It loads the frontpage in the administrator window. If I then disable Jsecure VirtueMart works fine. Any Advice on how to get Jsecure to work without messing up VirtueMart?

Same issue here on a site I was transferring.

The WWW. matters.
Solution was to modify the virtuemart.cfg.php to point to the proper web address. Or just turn off the plug and add or subtract the WWW until you modify your .htaccess.


I would suggest adding a rule in your .htaccess to either always use or always remove the WWW from all requests.

Example:
If you log in to your your admin area with http--//WWW.yoursite.com/administrator/?your_code and your config setting in virtuemart is http--//yoursite.com/ (no www)
The jSecure will bump you off.
