I downloaded the paid ver jSecure2.0 on 4/6/10 -- everything has been working great. Today I upgraded the Joomla from 1.5.15 to 1.5.17 and could not access the admin with the set key or the default key.

I followed the instruction to remove jSecure manually found here: www.joomlaserviceprovider.com/faq/9--jse...secure-manually.html

All mentions of jSecure are now removed from the database and I can now access the admin login page via www.mostvaluablemajors.com/administrator/ -- but none of the admin users can login. It keeps referring back to the login page with either FireFox 3.6.3, IE8 or Win Safari.

Very frustrated now -- can you help me?

Sorry -- that doesn't do anything, already tried it. I have this plugin totally removed from the file structure and from the database.

I even created a new Superadministrator in phpmyadmin via an SQL query and that one won't login either.

This is weird!

FYI: There is a bug in one of the Joomla ver 1.5.17 files that causes this behavior if the php is v5.2.5.

Commenting out line 533 of /libraries/joomla/application/application.php is the fix:



Now login to the admin is again possible.
